We get the four seats working together.

Third Party Labs trains and equips the people who manage third-party risk in Asia-Pacific (APAC) financial services. Four seats share that work: Risk and Compliance, Procurement and Supply Chain, the Responsible Party and the Third Party. Each seat does its job. Problems start in the gaps between them, where each team assumes another has it covered.

The gaps, where things go wrong

Why we exist

Every financial services organisation depends on third parties. When a third party fails, the organisation is still accountable to its regulator. Accountability cannot be contracted away.

Meeting that accountability is not one team’s job. It takes all four seats working from the same picture. That is what we build: training and tools that give every seat the same foundations, then go deep on the work each seat does.

The four seats

Three sit inside the organisation. The fourth is the third party. Some roles are held by the same person; each one still needs someone doing it.

How we work

  • Written by a practitioner

Our courses and tools come from more than 20 years of running and advising third-party risk programs, not from a textbook.

  • Sourced, not asserted

Every regulatory statement in our content is traced to the regulator’s own publication before it goes out.

  • Current and kept current

Modules are updated when a regulator changes the rules, and new modules are released on a regular cadence, including country deep dives and emerging-risk content.

  • Built for APAC

13 jurisdictions, from Australia and Singapore to Japan and Taiwan, taught side by side so you can see where the rules agree and where they differ.

Who is behind Third Party Labs

Kimberly Brooks, founder of Third Party Labs

Kimberly Brooks

Founder, Third Party Labs

More than 20 years in procurement and third-party risk, at Accenture and PwC and in executive roles at Commonwealth Bank and Westpac working on third-party risk transformation.

Kimberly started Third Party Labs because the same problem showed up in every program: capable teams, each in their own seat, with the risk falling between them. Academy courses are presented by Emery, our presenter, speaking in Kimberly’s voice.
