Who we are
Third Party Labs is a business name registered in Australia to Kimberly Brooks (ABN 40 581 259 077). In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Third Party Labs. This policy covers 3rdpartylabs.com, Third Party Labs Academy at academy.3rdpartylabs.com, The Lab Brief, and enquiries you send us.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Contact us about privacy at hello@3rdpartylabs.com.

The free tools in The Lab Vault run in your browser. Anything you type into them stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Each provider in the table, what it holds and the security assurance it publishes are listed on Our third parties.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for any purpose you would not reasonably expect from the table above.
Emails from us
We send The Lab Brief and product announcements only to people who ask for them. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
If you have an Academy account, your details stay in LearnWorlds. We do not copy them to Kit or add you to The Lab Brief or any other list; you join those only if you sign up yourself. LearnWorlds sends the emails that are part of the service: account, password, purchase and invoice, enrolment and course completion emails.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect your personal information. It shows us page views, the referring site, and the country, browser and device type of visits, so we can see which pages help people. The Academy uses cookies that are needed to keep you signed in and to process checkout.
Storage outside Australia
The services we use store information outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union, and in other countries where those providers operate. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable with the Australian Privacy Principles, and we share only what each one needs to do its job.
Security
- The website and the Academy are served over encrypted connections (HTTPS) only.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Our accounts use two-step sign-in, and access is limited to the people who need it.
- The website sends security settings to your browser that block common attacks, such as other sites loading our pages inside theirs.
If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to cause serious harm, we will tell the people affected and, where required, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
How long we keep it
We keep newsletter and waitlist details until you unsubscribe. We keep enquiry details for up to two years. We keep purchase and tax records for at least five years, as Australian tax law requires. Academy records (progress and certificates) are kept while your account is open so you can show your learning history.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email hello@3rdpartylabs.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the rights given by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to object and to data portability.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your information, email us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, and change the date at the top.
